McDaniels basically screwed this team up the first day he took over as coach by even entertaining offers for Cutler. As soon as someone asked about Cutler he should have said thanks but no thanks. Where else are the Broncos going to find a franchise passer? They are not! Now Cutler is pissed. Sure he is acting immature and needs to suck it up and get back on the field for the Broncos.
McDaniels says he will "take care of it". Sounds like big talk to me. Just like who he is going to get to play QB if it is not Cutler, I do not think that McDaniels has a plan to "taker care" of this situation either.
It looks to me like McDaniels is in over his head at this point. Just because he coached under Belicheck does not mean he is capable like Belicheck. As a life long Broncos fan I am waiting to see how McDaniels will handle this situation that can possibly have a positive outcome for the Broncos.
Anyone have a take on this?
